Adam Aldous, President and CEO of Night Flight Concepts, has logged more than 1,800 hours of operational NVG flight experience in the U.S. Army as a Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) in the CH-47D Helicopter and serves as a FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) of FAA approved NVG pilot flight training programs for law enforcement agencies and emergency air medical/rescue services worldwide. Adam's flight experience in the U.S. Army includes two combat tours in Iraq in support of OIF 1 and OIF 3. Adam has devoted his career as a subject matter expert (SME) in NVG standardization which has allowed him to develop, create, implement, and manage national and international aircrew training programs for numerous aviation units.
David Luke, VP of Maintenance Programs and NVG Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Night Flight Concepts, has 16 years of aviation NVG maintenance experience in the U.S. Army and civilian sector as quality control supervisor, maintenance supervisor, standardization instructor, flight engineer instructor, and aviation mechanic. As a Standardization Instructor and Materials Management Officer for the U.S. Army, David specializes in aviation flight characteristics, aviation maintenance, maintenance logistics systems, Night Vision Goggle (NVG) inspections and repairs, NVG inventory management, NVG quality control & assurance, and NVG historical data management. Additionally, David has created, implemented and manages an FAA Part 145 NVG Inspection / Repair Station for Night Flight Concepts located in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
In addition to his business development responsibilities, Randy is the chief instructor for all NVG training programs at NFC. In this capacity, Randy has oversight of NFC's instructor cadre to include annual standardization training and checking for staff. In addition, customer training and training program consultation are among his many roles within NFC. Designated by the FAA as a Pilot Examiner in 1997, for helicopter licenses and ratings including:; private, commercial, ATP, NVG, CFI/II. Randy has deep roots within aviation training and checking. He is approved by the FAA to issue the NVG instructor qualification endorsement. He has extensive experience to include EMS, Utility, and Training having logged over 11,500 flight hours with more than 700 hours NVG dual given. Additionally, Randy is a FAASTeam representative, chairs the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Flight Training Committee and is a Board Member of the National EMS Pilots Association (NEMSPA).
